Imagine if after giving birth, your baby was taken away immediately and you were forced to keep expressing milk to feed other people, while mourning the loss of your baby.
There would be an outcry if this happened to a human mother, yet is a continual process in the dairy industry. It is no less sad or horrendous for it to happen to a cow than it is to a human.
